24th MRC Council and 22nd Development Partner Consultative Group meetings late November
The 24th MRC Council and 22nd Development Partner Consultative Group meetings will be held at Pattaya Resort in Chonburi Province of Thailand on November 28-30, 2017.
The meeting will discuss a number of organizational matters including (i) cooperation between MRC and Dialogue Partners, Development Partners and other Partners; (ii) progress on the implementation of the Basin Development Strategy 2016-2020; and (iii) MRC Annual Work Plan 2018.
The meetings will also deliberate and approve a number of policy matters such as the Joint Action Plan for the Pak Beng hydropower project, the Mekong Adaptation Strategy and Action Plan, and the Basin-wide Fisheries Management and Development Strategy.
