Government pledges zero tolerance to corruption
Cabinet members discussed several draft laws in the spirit of building a constructive government with zero tolerance toward corruption during the first two days of the Government’s monthly meeting, according to Minister-Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung. The minister said at a press conference on August 31 that the Prime Minister asked the new Cabinet members to change their way of thinking about law making in order to ensure feasibility and sensibility, and create a favourable legal corridor for citizens and businesses. The Government leader also stressed the need to translate words into actions, the Minister-Chairman said, adding that a working group establishment by the PM will watch the pace of work of each Cabinet member as well as localities.
