Govt to punish agencies sending workers abroad illegally
The government will revoke the licences of labour recruitment agencies that are sending domestic workers illegally for employment abroad, Union Minister for Labour, Immigration and Population U Thein Swe warned on Monday. He said individuals operating these errant agencies would also be blacklisted, adding that the plan to implement the stricter punishments is being drawn up.
