Laos, Vietnam NA agree to deepen cooperation
Lao and Vietnamese top legislators have agreed to deepen cooperation between the two countries’ National Assemblies as Lao NA president, Ms Pany Yathotou made an official goodwill visit to Vietnam. The six-day visit by Ms Pany was made at the invitation from her Vietnamese counterpart, Ms Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan. The visit is to strengthen the time-honoured friendly relations, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two neighbouring countries, according to Lao News Agency. At their bilateral talks on Monday, the two NA presidents briefed each other on the on-going development of their respectively countries, which also enjoy political stability and social order conducive for socio-economic development.
