Myanmar hydropower developers’ working group business meeting

Myanmar’s Hydropower Developers’ Working Group (HDWG) will hold a business meeting to discuss updates from sub-committees working on issues related to Concession Agreements and Power Purchase Agreements, procurement and environmental and social issues. Members will also hear from a representative from HyCem – the Hydropower for Community Empowerment in Myanmar Association.
HDWG is in operation in three countries including Lao PDR, Myanmar and Pakistan. First established in Lao PDR in late-2013, HDWG is the only platform exclusively for hydropower companies and industry-related professionals to influence policy and identify solutions to improve upon sustainability and business operations in Myanmar.
