CEEC driving energy development in Lancang-Mekong nations

China Energy Engineering Corporation (CEEC), a multinational corporation specializing in energy solutions and services, is actively shaping the landscape of high-quality energy development in the Lancang-Mekong countries. As part of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), China Energy is deeply involved in the Southeast Asian market, particularly in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam.

CEEC subsidiaries have been operating in Vietnam and other Lancang-Mekong countries since the 1980s, making them one of the early Chinese players in the region. Over the past three decades, the company has established more than 30 subsidiaries with branches across these five countries. Their extensive experience and expertise have enabled them to construct a range of power plants, transmission systems, and water projects amounting to over $9 billion in the region.
