China, Mekong nations agree on over 100 projects

Leaders of China and Southeast Asian nations along the Mekong River have agreed to proceed with more than 100 projects that receive financial support from Beijing. Chinese Premier Li Keqiang joined leaders from Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam in Cambodia’s capital Phnom Penh on Wednesday. It was the 2nd meeting of the Lancang Mekong Cooperation forum. The first meeting was held in 2016, called by Beijing.
