Gov’t promises continued effort at third NA session

The government has made tangible achievements in implementing its socio-economic development plan over the past six months while it says efforts will be continued for achieving its planned targets. Prime Minister Mr Thongloun Sisoulith, representing the government, spoke to the National Assembly about its intentions in his briefing on government performance over the past six months on April 25 at the first day of the NA’s third ordinary session. The past six months included the last three months of 2016, which were the three months in the transition from the old financial year to the new financial year, coinciding with the Western calendar year.
