Hong Kong firms offer expertise
Companies from Hong Kong with expertise in infrastructure development, real estate-related services and professional services are keen to form partnerships with local investors, said a trade delegation visiting Cambodia. Eric Ma Siu-cheung, secretary for development for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, said Cambodia was a key emerging market in agriculture and manufacturing, as well as in construction and real estate development. Meanwhile, he said, Hong Kong has more than 2,100 architectural, surveying and engineering services companies that can partner with Cambodian firms.
