Myanmar state counselor leaves for Japan to attend Mekong-Japan summit

Myanmar State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi left Friday on a working visit to Japan and will attend the 10th Mekong-Japan Summit in Tokyo, said official sources. Suu Kyi is paying a six-day visit to Japan and will hold bilateral talks with Abe on enhancement of bilateral relations and cooperation covering economy, investment and transport as well as Rakhine affairs, according to the Myanmar Foreign Ministry.
