Over 130 schools closed in flooded Magwe

About 130 schools have been closed and over 30,000 victims have been relocated in Magwe Region due to rising water level of the Ayeyarwady and Chindwin rivers.

Magwe Region Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Department head U Myint Soe told The Myanmar Times, “The schools are still closed. So far, 30,000 people have been relocated.”
