South Koreans eye farm sector

Cambodian agriculture has huge untapped potential for South Korean investors, according to the secretary-general of the ASEAN-Korean Centre. Kim Young-sun led nine leading Korean companies specialising in agriculture at a seminar organised jointly with the Council for the Development of Cambodia. On Monday, the group visited the Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone, Apsara Rice Company and MH BIO to seek opportunities for cooperation in Cambodian agro-industry projects. “The Cambodian agricultural market has great potential,” Mr Kim said yesterday. “It’s not only because of the quality of your products, but also because of its outstanding variety.
