Storms wreak more havoc across 17 provinces
More than 100 homes have been destroyed, another person killed and several people injured as storms continue to cut a swathe through Cambodia. A woman and two cows were killed by lightning yesterday in a rice field in Kampong Chhnang province’s Veal Veng district. In Siem Reap province’s Pouk district, 57 houses were torn down and three people injured on Monday evening, while in Stung Treng province no injuries were reported as two houses and nine electricity poles collapsed.
