Following its launch in Banteay Meanchey last month, USAID’s “Pidor, the Smart Villager” project that provides information on public services, is now accessible in Kampong Chhnang province since yesterday.
Pidor, the Smart Villager is an Interactive Voice Response (IVR), Facebook-based chatbot tool by USAID’s One Window for Cities (OW4C) project that will connect citizens to services offered by the government’s One Window Services Office (OWSO).
US Ambassador Patrick Murphy said the ability of citizens to access critical public services is an important part of an open and accountable government.
“We share these principles and values that build trust between citizens and authorities. Such trust also helps pave the way for a productive and prosperous society,” he said.
