Myanmar strives for malaria-free country by 2030

Myanmar is striving for becoming a malaria-free country by 2030 and a campaign for the target is underway under the sponsorship of Asia-Pacific Malaria Elimination Network, the official Global New Light of Myanmar reported Wednesday.

[…]Meanwhile, a health ministers meeting of the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) is set for Friday in Myanmar. Moreover, in the world health assembly to be held in May 2018, all GMS health ministers will sign a declaration against malaria.
