Top legislator talks to voters in Cần Thơ

Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân met with voters in Cái Răng District of the southern city of Cần Thơ on April 27 to listen to their opinions ahead of the third plenary session of the 14th legislature. Voters from Hùng Thanh Ward of Cái Răng District raised compensation for land clearance, health insurance, jobs for young people, child sexual abuse and public investment in Cần Thơ. The NA Chairwoman affirmed that the issues of voters’ concern will be up for discussion at the upcoming NA session. Mentioning the high rate of unemployment among young people, including university graduates in the locality, Ngân said there are several reasons for the problem, one of which is the quality of training falling short of the demands of the labour market.
