Cross-border bridge congestion target of Savan Park proposal

Savan Logistics based in the Special Economic Zone or Savan Park has proposed establishment of Common Control Areas in the park, aimed at easing traffic congestion at the Lao-Thai border checkpoint. Currently the CCA proposal is being discussed among the officials concerned from line ministries, especially the Ministry of Public Works and Transport and other parties. Following the concept of establishment of the CCA at the park proposed by Savan Logistics, an experienced international operator, with particular expertise in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar and China. The company anticipates that the flow of logistics and traffic jams at the checkpoint will be solved and minimise the time consumption while dealing with paperwork at the border.
